Are You Having Fun, Yet?

Fun at Work

How much fun are you having in your life?

Successful people have fun doing what they “do”.  From the outside it may appear as if the super achievers are super disciplined and self-sacrificing.  However, their success is actually attributable to what really drives them — FUN!  Yes, they actually have more fun in their work than others.

Research shows that these individuals took the time to select a career that would incorporate their natural talents and abilities.  And, most notably,  these individuals chose a path that encompassed something they were passionate about. Read the rest of this entry »

Question: Music…Is That What Life’s All About?

Don’t sacrifice your life for someone else’s idea of success. Striving for success above all else is hardly living.

Well, those are questions that have come to my mind recently…and, frequently as I pursue my entrepreneurial path and financial goals. I get up each morning with a well-defined “to do” list. I accomplish each of those tasks and cross them off one by one. I get up Read the rest of this entry »

Itty, Bitty Leadership Tip #4

leadership mind

Man’s mind is what separates him from other animals. Animals have instincts…they react in response to stimuli. Man has creative capacity. We hold a vast storehouse of data that allows for original problem solving.

It’s been stated that we humans operate on less than 10% of our mental capacity. Some estimates are even less than 5%! Can you imagine what we could do if we even used 20%…or what about 50%?

I don’t think anyone really understand the capability of the mind. However, I think successful leader is not a person without problems. Rather, a successful leader has learned how to appropriately use their conscious mind to solve their problems.

First, think about how much time is spent worrying. What do we worry about: Read the rest of this entry »
