Will You Have Any Regrets?

Life Without Regrets
Will you have any regrets when you arrive at the end of your life?  Bronnie Ware worked for many years with patients who had gone home to live their final days.  She shared the last three to twelve weeks of life with many individuals.

Bronnie pointed out in her blog that people grow a lot when they are faced with their own mortality. There were phenomenal changes. Achieving Happiness…How Hard Is It?

Chasing Happiness

Steve Siebold tells us in his book, 177 Mental Toughness Secrets of the World Class, that we achieve happiness from “being and becoming” not “acquiring and possessing”.  Frederick Koenig, a German inventor, wrote, “We tend to forget that happiness doesn’t come as a result of getting something we don’t have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.”

It’s important to make a conscious decision to acknowledge that leadership, wealth, success or whatever will be a part of your future. But then, let your subconscious take over and figure out the “how”. Don’t pursue it.

Rather decide to consciously focus on today, this very moment…focus Read the rest of this entry »
